The Good Reverend Burger - Reverend's BBQ, Portland

WOW!  Likely the best burger I have EVER had!
A friend of mine told me about the burger at a relatively new BBQ place in Portland, Reverend's BBQ.  He also shared a review of The 15 Best New Burgers of 2014 - Thrillist, written by Liz Childers.  One of the 15 best burgers in the country?  Really?  Yes it is, without a doubt in my mind.
The Thrillist review says that The Good Reverend is topped with Burnt Ends, which is a little misleading.  When I ordered my burger I tasted the burnt ends, and a few were falling on my plate with each bite, but I couldn't see them on my burger?  I asked my server and he told me that they were inside the patty.  They mix the burnt ends in with the ground beef prior to cooking the burger!  This is an amazing touch to a very unique and tantalizingly tasty burger.  I always thought it was weird to order a burger at a BBQ place as I love BBQ, but I don't think I will ever taste Reverend's BBQ because every time I go I will get the Good Reverend Burger!

The Good Reverend Burger - Brisket Burnt Ends, Pimento Cheese, House Pickles, Iceberg, Mayo, Crispy Fried Onions for $10.95, which includes 1 side .

You have to try it to believe it!  I can't wait for my next visit to Portland so I can try another one.
