The Root Cafe - Little Rock, Arkansas

Great place and great food in Little Rock.  Their motto is "Building Community through Local Food".  

I found The Root Cafe on a website that ranked it as one of the top 10 restaurants in Little Rock.  I ordered a cheeseburger and it was really good.  A bit heavy on the bun (meaning too much bun in proportion to the rest of the ingredients), but otherwise I could taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients.  I would go back to this restaurant anytime I am in Little Rock and can recommend it for quality, locally sourced food, especially the burgers.
